After 10 years of full-time teaching Occupational Health and Safety in higher education, I am now working for Ferro Productions – FerroCity Safety as a Concept Development Representative, VP out of New York City.
For the last 20 years, I have worked for D&L Electric Company, Inc. located in Houston, Texas. I was promoted to the Safety Director in 2013.
As a Safety and Health manager for Renewable Energy Group Inc., I spend a significant amount of my time training employees, creating training programs, providing support for the employees in our production facilities, enhancing the documentation in our safety management system, and overseeing our incident management software.
Alyssa is the Professional Development Chair of ASSP's Young Professionals in OSH Common Interest Group (CIG). She is also a member of ASSP's Greater Boston Chapter and the Women in Safety Engineering CIG.
Nancy O’Toole is a senior customer relations/sales specialist at ASSP where she helps members get the most out of their membership. She also coordinates groups for the professional development conference (PDC) and SeminarFest, as well as contacting nonmembers about the benefits of joining the Society.
Mike Noerper is an account representative at ASSP, where he reaches out to members to make sure they have everything they need from their membership. From helping them pay their membership dues, to answering any questions they have, to coordinating groups for the professional development conference (PDC), Mike is a jack-of-all-trades in helping meet the needs of ASSP members.
Dolores Suarez Svachula is a marketing services manager for ASSP. She has worn many hats in her 11 years with the Society, including her work on the integrated marketing communications strategy for the professional development conference (PDC) and the design of the ASSP Lounge (previously known as the ASSP Resource Center).
