Pitch for Safety – The Executive Elevator Pitch Challenge!
What’s YOUR big idea for improving workplace safety? From a new product to an out-of-the-box way to better manage safety, here’s your opportunity to craft a powerful message and pitch it to actual safety leaders and receive feedback. Part networking/part “hands on” workshop, you’ll get a chance to pitch your ideas to upper management – and get their candid feedback on how best to craft your message so it gets heard.
The Pitch is broken down into two parts:
Monday - Starting Pitch for Safety
Here’s where it all begins. Eat your lunch while senior safety leaders talk about ways to get yourself taken seriously by the C-Suite. You’ll also have a chance to put your pitch together and run it by the team. A select few will get to take their pitch to the "safety sharks" on Tuesday.
You’ll need to turn in the pitch form for consideration, we will also have copies onsite. Use the idea starters on the sheet to write down your pitch.
Tuesday - Final Pitch For Safety
It’s showtime! On day two, the pitches chosen from the previous day will get to come back and pitch their ideas to safety leaders. If your pitch is selected, you’ll have three minutes or less to present. You must be available tomorrow between 11:45AM-12:30PM to participate.
Once you’ve convinced the safety “sharks” you’ll have the confidence to go back to pitch your great idea to your own CEO!
