ASSP Announces Safety 2020: Virtual
As a leader in occupational safety and health, our top priority is the safety and health of our members and staff, instructors/speakers and attendees. Like everyone across the globe, we have been closely monitoring the progression of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over that time, we have remained hopeful that we would be able to deliver our signature event live in Orlando in late June. Unfortunately, the progression of the pandemic made it clear that the most prudent course of action for the safety and health of everyone involved is to shift our in-person event to an online experience.
Please join us June 23-25 for Safety 2020: Virtual, a unique learning experience during extraordinary times. Now more than ever, we can help you enhance the knowledge skills and abilities you need to keep workers safe and improve your organization’s performance. We have partnered with a best-in-class platform provider to develop a robust virtual conference and we are confident you will receive the high-quality professional content you expect from ASSP and the learning experience you need to achieve the highest levels of performance and advance your career.
We appreciate your understanding and support during these challenging times. While we will miss being together in Orlando, we are excited to connect with you virtually. Thank you for all you are doing to support your workers, organizations and communities!
And please be sure to save the date for Safety 2021, June 6-9, in Denver, CO. We will be back, better than ever, and look forward to sharing that experience with you!
To take advantage of our early-bird discounts, register on or before June 5, 2020.
You must submit a completed registration form, along with full payment, to process your registration (your credit card information or company check payable to ASSP). We will not process registrations without full payment.
Substitutions & Cancellations
Need to substitute one person for another? Please submit substitutions by May 29 to email@example.com. If pricing has changed, you will be charged or refunded the difference. After May 29, 2020 a $100 substitution fee will apply. ASSP will grant full refunds to cancellation requests received by May 29 via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will assess the following fees to cancellations received via email between May 29 and June 5: Conference $325; Pre/Post-Conference Courses $100/course.
Cancellations requested after June 5 will forfeit refunds in their entirety.
ASSP makes every effort to ensure that the program schedule, events and prices remain as published. However, since unforeseen changes may occur, we reserve the right to make changes. Please refer to the Safety 2020 program schedule page for the most up to date schedule.
Register eight or more colleagues from your company and save on the entire conference. The more attendees you have and the earlier you register, the more you save. All attendees from your group must be registered and paid by June 12, 4:00 pm CDT*. Note: If cancellations reduce your group size to a lower discount level, each registrant will be billed the difference between the discount applied and the next discount level fee. *Rates vary based on registration date. Contact Nancy O’Toole at +1 847.768.3466 or email@example.com.
To receive the government rate, you must be a full-time local, state or federal government employee. ASSP must receive a completed government purchase order (PO) or training authorization form with your registration form if not paid in full at the time of registration. However, this is not considered payment. Your registration will have a balance due until full payment is received. ASSP will return registrations received without a PO or training authorization form.
If you visit a virtual exhibitor booth, you agree to ASSP sharing your full contact information with the exhibitor. Registration and attendance at, or participation in ASSP professional development, constitutes an agreement by the registrant to ASSP’s use and distribution of the attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audio tapes of such events and activities.
