If you need assistance while the Live Chat Support is not online, please contact us at eventsupport@assp.org.
Make sure you received the event invite email and clicked the link to activate your account and create a password. If you have done that but are still unable to login, use the Forgot Password feature on the login page.
If you are still having issues:
To earn CEUs for a session, you need to watch the video until the speaker(s) have finished their presentation. Once you start watching a session, do not leave the page. If needed, you can pause and restart the video. If you leave the session page or close out the window, you must start the video from the beginning when you go back into the session in order to receive the CEUs.
In order to ensure that you will receive any CEUs, you should verify that your device and browser meets the device requirements and browser settings mentioned on the System Requirements page.
The best way to keep track of the sessions you have viewed is to do the following:
After an evaluation is submitted for a session, it will no longer be listed on the Evaluations page. By following these steps, you will be able to track all the sessions that you have yet to watch by seeing them listed on the Evaluations page. Sessions that you have added to your schedule which are not listed on the Evaluations page can be considered watched. You will receive the CEUs for those sessions as long as you have followed the steps above, watched the session until the speaker has completed their presentation, and have verified your device and browser meets the device requirements and browser settings mentioned on the System Requirements page.
Session videos will only display after the scheduled start time of the session.
If the scheduled start time has passed, verify that your device and browser meets the device requirements and browser settings mentioned on the System Requirements page.
If you have verified the items on the System Requirements page and are still having issues, you can either contact an agent via the Live Chat Support, or send an email to eventsupport@assp.org.
Yes, the CEU credit date on your transcript will be the date the session was accessed.
Your transcript reflecting the CEUs earned during the conference are typically available under My Account on assp.org within 10 business days. The same is generally true for CEUs you earn because of completing online sessions during the 60-day access period following the conference.
Try the following:
You receive .1 credit for each full session you attend. One session = .1 CEUs. To receive the full 6.4 CEUs/recertification points, you will need to attend/complete all 60 concurrent sessions and the four live-streamed general/plenary sessions. You will have access to all online concurrent session recordings for 60 days after the event and will continue to accrue CEUs as you complete them during that time. You will need to watch the general/plenary sessions as they are live-streamed to receive CEUs for those sessions.
We encourage you to ask the speaker questions live during each session via the Live Chat.
This is a great benefit of a virtual event. Your Safety 2022 registration includes access to recordings of all online concurrent sessions for 60 days after the event. So, you can watch sessions you missed or rewatch sessions you attended to review what you have learned.
Each paid registration for Safety 2022 permits only one user to enter the virtual conference. Continuing education units earned, questions asked and polling conducted during each session are tied to the account of the individual who registered for the event.
Virtual events bring the experience of an in-person conference to your personal computer. So just like at an in-person conference, you can select the sessions you attend. We encourage you to attend the entire event — including general sessions, concurrent sessions and virtual networking chats — to get the most out of the experience.
The virtual conference will work on most up-to-date laptops, desktops and handheld devices. Please verify that your device meets the system requirements and browser settings mentioned on the System Requirements page.
A webcam is not required to attend via the online platform for Safety 2022.
You can do that by using the Forgot Password feature on the login screen of https://safety2022.hubb.me.
Our general sessions will stream full video showing the presenter and other visual elements.
For the concurrent sessions, we will stream a combination of the presenter via webcam accompanied by PowerPoint and other visual elements shared by the presenter. Our speakers will be available live online for Q&A during each of their session broadcasts.
We value your trust, we appreciate your involvement and leadership in ASSP, and we thank you for your engagement and support as we look ahead to Safety 2022 in Chicago and online. Below is more information about programs and responsibilities for ASSP leaders at Safety 2022.
This invitation only event will welcome ASSP volunteer leaders, past presidents and Fellows, and 2022 award recipients for the first ever ASSP Leader and Awards reception.
The event says invitation-only. Who will be invited? The following groups of leaders and honorees have been invited to attend this celebration (all are 2021-22 recognition and terms, unless otherwise noted):
If you are part of one the leader or honoree groups listed above and you have not received an invitation or you need it re-sent, you can contact customerservice@assp.org.
Can I bring a guest?Due to limited capacity in the venue, this invitation does not include guests. We will make a few exceptions for the 2022 Fellows, Safety Professional of the Year and Outstanding Educator of the Year.
Additional guests may be accommodated, on request, depending on event registration numbers. We are grateful for the support leaders and honorees have received from family and loved ones. Our goal is to accommodate as many guests as the space allows once we’re sure of the number of ASSP leaders who will be able to attend. Additional guest requests can be made by e-mailing customerservice@assp.org. Your guest request will be confirmed after the May 20 RSVP deadline.
I received an invite but I’m not able to attend. Can I give my invite to someone else?Invitations for this event are not transferable.
What’s the attire for the event? We ask that attendees to wear business casual attire. Our goal is to provide attendees a great opportunity to meet and network with other ASSP leaders and contributors in a comfortable setting.
How will this year’s recipients be recognized? We are working to finalize all the details, but we will provide recognition in various ways. For example, there will be special signage and a celebratory video playing on screens in the venue. After the reception, the signage display will be moved to a centralized location accessible to all Safety 2022 attendees. The video will also be posted on the ASSP website.
Volunteer leaders who hold the following positions will receive a non-transferable registration code for a complimentary registration to the in-person and virtual Safety 2022:
Under our current operating budget, we are reimbursing travel expenses for only a limited number of volunteer leaders who attend Safety 2022 in Chicago. For example, we plan to cover travel expenses for members of the Board of Directors, who will have official on-site roles during the conference. ASSP staff members will be on site to fulfill key roles.
No ASSP business meetings (including board, committee and council meetings) will be held at Safety 2022.
We will not host community receptions as part of the in-person conference. However, member communities may host virtual receptions and/or in-person informal gatherings. We will post information on these activities on the Safety 2022 networking page as details are finalized.
In addition, all attendees are invited to attend the Monday night Summer in the City event, which will be a ticketed event held outdoors on the McCormick Place campus.
We understand that many of our members and groups of members from our various communities are excited to reconnect with colleagues while in Chicago. If you elect to self-organize as individual members, please use your best judgment and review the latest CDC guidelines.
ASSP leaders are responsible for upholding the ASSP Code of Conduct and are accountable to all event rules and regulations.
