Safety and Health Protocols

To mitigate risk of infection during the in-person event, our safety team is discussing a range of measures such as contactless registration, physical distancing, face coverings, regular cleaning, one-directional aisles, designated entrances/exits, and seating limitations in meeting rooms. We will also promote good hygiene practices such as frequent handwashing and use of hand sanitizer. View our Health & Safety Plans page for more details.

We will share more information about protocols that will be in place for all participants and at the convention center and conference hotels as we get closer to the event.

Conference Lunches

Due to physical distancing and public health requirements, we will not provide traditional conference lunches as part of Safety 2021. The Austin Convention Center is conveniently located near a wide range of restaurants that are following local COVID-19 protocols, and we are exploring additional alternatives to ensure our attendees have plenty of safe food options while attending the conference. We are also adjusting the schedule to make sure you have adequate time for lunch each day.

Ancillary Events

We recognize that award ceremonies, lunches, receptions and other special gatherings often enhance your in-person conference experience. However, due to physical distancing and public health requirements, some ancillary events traditionally held in conjunction with the in-person conference likely will shift to virtual events presented either in conjunction with the Safety 2021 virtual conference or at another time to be most accessible to members. In addition, we won't be holding board or committee meetings, nor will we be hosting lounges, receptions or retreats. Please stay tuned for more information and watch your email for more updates.

Payment

You must submit a completed registration form, along with full payment, to process your registration (your credit card information or company check payable to ASSP). We will not process registrations without full payment.

Cancellations requested after cancellation cutoff will forfeit refunds in their entirety.

Program Changes

ASSP makes every effort to ensure that the program schedule, events and prices remain as published. However, since unforeseen changes may occur, we reserve the right to make changes. Please refer to the Safety 2021 program schedule page for the most up to date schedule.

Group Registrations

Register eight or more colleagues from your company and save on the entire conference. The more attendees you have and the earlier you register, the more you save. Note: If cancellations reduce your group size to a lower discount level, each registrant will be billed the difference between the discount applied and the next discount level fee. *Rates vary based on registration date. Consent

If you visit a virtual exhibitor booth, you agree to ASSP sharing your full contact information with the exhibitor. Registration and attendance at, or participation in ASSP professional development, constitutes your agreement to ASSP’s use and distribution of your image or voice in photographs, videos, electronic reproductions and audio recordings of such events and activities.
